Welcome                                                                                                            to my website, as an artist I like to bring pictures to life, birds, landscapes etc. but what really gives me the greatest pleasure is to bring Australia's history to life, the great ordinary people the unsung heroes of Australian's past the people that made this country what it is, not the politicians but the men and women that worked from sunrise to sunset with very little reward, shearers, miners, drovers, men and women working the land and the factories as this country grew.

I wanted to paint the scene as it was when the photo was taken, every detail that was there but I didn't want to bring them all to life with colour, so I painted some in different shades of sepia keeping the old look but with a touch of different tones and where possible bringing their faces to life with colour as can be seen in "The Shearing shed".

I have included a copy of the photo so you can see if I have come close to the likeness  that I dreamed to archived, every painting comes with as much information as is possible to recover and a A4 size photo of the original photo, with120 plus year old photos which some are not in a very good condition.
